Release

April 26 was the release date in Australia but many retailers chose to sell the album two days early on April 24, while a select few European countries saw the album’s release on April 25; on 28 April 2008^[6] in the United Kingdom, Brazil and most other European countries, and on 29 April 2008 in the United States, Argentina, Mexico and Canada.^[2]

Seven songs from the album were also made available through download via mobile phone. During the week prior to release, one song a day was available to download.^[7] Beginning on April 21 and ending on April 27, these songs were distributed: “Candy Shop”, “Miles Away”, “Give It 2 Me”, “Heartbeat”, “Beat Goes On”, “Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You” and “She’s Not Me”. The album was also streamed on MySpace, four days before the United States release.^[8]

“Miles Away” is also currently being used as the theme song for Fuji TV’s Japanese television drama Change starring Takuya Kimura.

Musical style

The album has an overall hip-hop/pop feel, while remaining a pop/dance record at heart.^[9] Stuart Price, the producer of Confessions on a Dance Floor, described the new album as moving in an “urban” direction.^[10] The Sun quoted a source as saying: “It’s not all hip-hop though, there are a lot of producers from a lot of genres in there. It could be her most ambitious project yet.”^[9]

Timbaland stated in an interview: “It’s kinda like ‘Holiday’ with an R&B groove.”^[11] In an interview for industry magazine Hollywood Daily People, Justin Timberlake noted: “It’s an R&B/pop/dance record, but it’s still Madonna… A couple of times I pushed her in a direction where it took a minute before we saw eye to eye. Her approach was, ‘Well, I just haven’t done that’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s why you should do it’.”^[12] The New York Times viewed the album as a crowd-pleaser by stating, “It’s the kind of album a record company longs for in the current embattled market: a set of catchy, easily digestible, mass-appeal songs by a star who’s not taking chances.”^[13]

The album features vocal appearances by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West along with production credits from Timbaland, Timberlake, The Neptunes, and Nate “Danja” Hills as well as co-production from Madonna. Wendy Melvoin is guest guitarist on “She’s Not Me”.

My Review:
Track 1:Candy Shop- Radio Friendly, catchy lyrics and chorus, the bouncy musical beat is almost infectious and you would end up on the dance floor…(I got turkish delight and baby so much more …) there’s a special appearance in the end by Pharrel William

Track 2: 4 Minutes : The opening is so upbeat , with mixture of heavy drums, it sounded like you are in a marching band(imagine wearing something really skimpy and slutty when ur doing the marching) featuring vocals by Madonna and Justin, their voices just blend smoothly. With the spirits of 4 Minutes saving the world, this song would capture anyone attention on the 1st time basis..even for those who are into Madonna would agree..this is a remarkable duet effort by Madonna, she scored big time in this song!

Track 3: Give It 2Me: It took me awhile to really enjoy this track, after a few heavy rotation of this song, I tend to fall in love with the euro dance style and a bit poco-poco(yes ur right, there’s obvious gong like sound and indonesian influence dangdut sound in the middle of the track..it’s quite catchy)  love the bridge lyrics : You only here to win, get what they said, You only here to Win , Gat What they said, They do it too If They Were, You Done it all Before, Aint Nothing New…

Track 4: Heartbeat one of my favourite track, the familiar 80’s Madonna album sounds, the adorable opening..and the romantic encounter lyrics..just make me wanna dance with a beautiful stranger on the dance floor and making lewd dance move..okie a bit OTT..who cares! look out for these catchy phrase:You know I feel it in my heartbeat

Track 5: Miles Away: Amazing yet another Madonna classic to be song, I love everything about this song, from the music composition, to the sound of each bleeps , to the smart n catchy lyrics, to the familiar backing vocals , feat the hottie Justin . A song which i recommend to anyone…is about long distance love, dedicate to anyone who works and travela nd frequently away from their loved ones(sounds familiar)  I can relate to..and yes…nobody can take this song away from me..it’s OFFICIALLY THE SOundtrack of my LIFE… awakening and refreshing opening and a dreamy ending…love love love the song so much!

Track 6: She’s Not Me: A great song, I like it less though. I guess I couldnt really excite myself on this particular track, but i’m sure i would change my mind after listening to it, say 1000th times. It’s about protecting the one you love, and telling him , you are the only one for him. It’s to your face/Bitchy and Fuck You Attitude!

Track 7: Incredible: I adore the lyrics of this songs, it’s a great effort but was extended too long. It gets really old after the 5th minute… watch out for this catchy phrase:

Track 8: Beat Goes On: who ever managed to download this leaked track last year would be very suprised, it sounded nothing like the boring and disgusting reminder of Britney & Madonna duet effort..it features Kanye West and the beat is more upbeat, 70’s Dance motown groovy R&B feel( projecting Marvin Gaye) the whole song has been revamp with new lyrics..with the addictive phrase ” On and on ..on the beat goes..)

Track 9: Dance 2Nite: Another you wanna dance track, still featuring Justin Timberlake as a special duet cameo, this is another outstanding track, with her vocal is much relaxed and sexy, this it would remind you the good ol days(quote Erotica Album, Bedtime Stories ) 

Track 10: Spanish Lessons: Madonna herself describe this song as, being silly and playful. So I wont bother to take this song seriously. Reminding the Justin past work..

Track 11: Devild Wouldnt Recognize You: OMG, when I 1st heard this track, I’m totally awestruck by this amazing mid tempo ballad. The lyric is about  a cheating love, sad and very dramatic ..written by Justin and it has a clear remembrance of his super hits Cry Me A River, an amazing attempt by both of them

Track 12: Voices: It’s very Madonna, it start with a dance, love , lust and heartbreak..and the ending…you are thrown to a dark corner..a gothic song..and emotional songs about love , life and spirits… who is the master who is the slave..telling us..our life is not control by anyone , but yourself. Demons exist in us, is a matter ur using them or not…

Overall Hard Candy is another favourite Madonna album of mine, and I really enjoy every single track it…and yes I recommend you buy the album

 I’m not trying to be all patriotic and sentimental in this blog. But I guess it’s time for me to show a bit interest in the current affair. Just to proof anyone wrong, I’m not just another pretty face with a fashion sense and a high taste!

                                              I HEART MALAYSIA

I have to admit, I never been a fan of political issues. Heck ! I have nil knowledge on politics all together.
 I registered myself as a voter many years ago, but never bothered to vote. Why u asked? My answer would be simple- I don’t see the needs.

Coming back to Kuching, and living with my family makes me realize. How I’ve missed the chance and my rights to choose the rightful person to govern my beloved Malaysia . As a Malaysian, I am proud to say- we’re damn lucky! Peaceful, unity in diversity. Although,there’s a few slights unspoken human rights that confused me as a citizens(say, the gay human rights is much a taboo topic, transsexualism is considered sinful and against the law) but as I said, I considered myself as lucky. I still able to walk out in public without being beaten! I can still able to work in an amazing organization which focuses most on individuality and human development. I still am able to practice what ever my lifestyle, as long as I know my limit and boundaries. Frustrating at times, but it does work out fine at the end of the day. I live by the philosophy of my parents wisdoms on life- Live your life to the fullest, make sure you don’t bring suffer to anyone else.

National Election Day

As it was my 1^st time as a voter, I woke up as early as I could. It was raining heavily, and it’s such a nice weather for me to snuggle up in my blanket, and but a girl got to do what a girl got to do! With my half hearted spirit of Cintai Malaysia . I drag my foot to the shower and grab myself a hot Nescafe. Of course being fashion conscious, I have to make sure, even when I’m voting I need to look good!

Dorothy Perkins grey preggie loose v-neck top, tight black pants, Topshop black cardi , sandals and Mango purse. Hair neatly bun ,and I’m ready to go!

Mom and dad are the typically excited for this special day. For those who has the chance to vote many times before and see Malaysia literally growing (both mom and dad are the pre-merdeka babies) , this is indeed a very special event for them. I tried to pretend my excitement, but failed.

Oh by the way, I bumped into my ex boyfriend Sulaiman who apparently work as a secretariat for the election council. That does help to excite me a bit!

The election in Malaysia pretty much the same as any commonwealth country, majority wins will govern the country. The nationwide election is crucial for the faith of the next 5 years of Malaysia . As the younger generation of Malaysian, I feel it’s high time for me to be a more responsible citizen, contributing to Malaysia by voting. Every vote counts.

Kudos to myself! I’m officially a Malaysian that votes !

 

 

Rain..rain go away…

Kuching has been pouring with rain these past few days, and I remember being told by Syukri, that’s how the weather in London would normally be. Rainy and extremely cold. Something I’m not really keen of, because…I don’t have my bloody someone to cuddle me when it gets too cold at night, and I don’t get to cuddle anyone I particular like and I want. It’s rather challenging, when you are  facing the night, having to sleep alone, every single day. Rain does dampen my spirits, and I hate feeling like this, continously. No amount of ciggies or alcohol can help.
 
Complaining? Yes I am…This is my bloody blog, so SCREW u who thinks I’m pathetic!

I missed him…and I could picture him, every single night. I hope he does the same thing too…

Paparazzi Moment- Larger Than Life

Neyna Radzuan, 30. Malaysia’s own utmost international fashion model and the current ‘it’ girl in the fashion world, was pictured here last weekend with her manager cum trusted friend Xyrole Hisham during a shopping spree at Pavillion, she was in London a month before coming back to KL Malaysia recently and did a special cameo modelling for long time pal Syuke Atta SS09 Collection , she is currently doing Apple Ipod Red campaign and a devotee volunteer work in numerous charities with World AIDS Foundation within the Asia’s Region, alongside supermodel best friend Agyness Aziz Dyeen.

She also recently did her 1st acting gig, appearing as the leading lady, in a famous music video by the hot Korean singer doubt Asian Timberlake- Rain, playing the un-conventional love object.

Her presence was later realized and create a massive media frenzy when the local adouring legion of fans and Malaysian media paparazzis flock the mall.

Neyna has been running away from the world media when rumours of her pregnancy and much talked about relationships with her now fiance(a young Malaysian Telco COO and social elite Mohd Eusoff Lim Abdullah, 26) she denies that fact that she actually gain weight for her upcoming new Chanel A/W 2009 World campaign, She was later heard verbally denying the rumours, but and claimed that she do not againts those whom having a child out of wedlock. It was then doubt as the most daring statement by a world famous moslem woman’s celebrity from Malaysia.

Listed No 8 as one of the Forbes world richest supermodel in 2007 and raised to No 3 in 2008 are making more headlines world wide lately, with her curvy and plus size frame, she was reckoned to have redefine beauty of the new age, beauty comes in all sizes. She has been an admiration of many woman and man alikes, as she refused to diet and loose weight and  be stereotyped to fall under the slim skinny models. Her charming persona with un-intimidating class of glamour. The camera seems to agree with her outstanding photos and killer catwalk in the fashion industry- doubt as the next best thing since Naomi.

On being a plus size supermodel,

she responded:
“I love food, I love to eat, my fiance and I, we both loves our greasy mamak food!  KL(Malaysia) has the best food in the world .When i’m having my spicy sambal with rich nasi lemak or maggi goreng ;- It’s almost like having a tiny orgasme*giggle* Besides , my fiance and I arent those slim skinny people, we love to snuggle each other love handles everynow and then!’ She can be seen with her much bulked up and stockier fiance Eusoff, and he once heard to quote- The main physical attraction of her would be her dynamite A**! They’re definately crazy of each other!

On love and relationship

Neyna and Eusoff has been together for the past 6 years and engaged last year during the Malaysian Jazz Queen biggest concert in KL. Eusoff proposed to Neyna during one of the Sheila encore- as she sing Neyna’s favourite tune Aku Cinta Padamu. Neyna said in one of the interview have admit, Eusoff has been the best thing that ever happened to her, she loves the fact how he reflected her in every way .She confide to one of her best friend, as said to candidly says.

The love pair plans to have lots of cute chubby babies and they are most ready to make a family.
Although they tried to hide away from the limelight and paparazzis,and keeping mum of their relationships off from the media. They are still retaining the Malaysian Tinseltown hottest couple and ironically they are the most photographed celebrity couple and the most sort after images in the internet too . Friends and family reckoned them as an adorable couple who makes each other laughs all the time. She has never been in love these much-claimed a celebrity friend.

Close friends said, they’ve been planning a secret wedding this year. Both with a chinese root,was said to plan a grand  traditional Sarawakian Malay style wedding and authentic chinese style wedding . Maybe, her reasons to come back to Malaysia is to actually finalizing her wedding this year and picking her wedding dress. Syuke Atta has quote in Vogue recently, his dream job was a to design an amazing wedding dress for dear friend of him. No matter how hush-hush the wedding would be…it would be larger than life
and no matter what, she still looks fabulous!!

The biggest has yet to come, the much talked about wedding of the year is definately in the pipeline, we’re at Vogue will be the among the the 1st to congratulate you, watch this space.

Plenary Hally Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

                 It marks another significant history making event for Ms Sheila Majid, 2 day sold out concert (finale night) in pledge of raising fund for the National Heart Institute (IJN) .
Could we expect less( from the Queen(bluntly remark from one of my closest friend cum local music critics cum stylist extradinoire- Aziz Draim) Yes, the music lovers agreed, it was indeed another superb show by her Jazz majesty herself.

It was indeed an exciting day ahead for me, I reached KIA(Kuching International Airport) as early as 7am, checking in even my flight is due not in another 3 hours. More reasons for me to chill with my morning caffeine at the Starbucks KIA. With a venti cup of cappucino and Danish Cream Cheese Pastry as my breakfast. I was so positive and energetic to the point it was a breeze for me to flirt with my eye candy (the KIA starbucks supervisor in charge- cutie Jacky)I guess it was the adrenalin rush and my heart are raring  to witness a music history in the making!

Exactly 12 hours later, I was screaming my lung out, singging every single phrase n note of Sheila Majid evergreen songs. Team up with my side kick and best concert buddy - Aziz

I reached KL in the afternoon, checked in at Traders Hotel(my favourite hotel) and which was the nearest to the concert venue(More reasons for me to sashay from the hotel to the concert, looking every inch of a glam goddess would be)

7.45pm, reached the KL Convention Centre concert hall, packed with many familiar faces, some from my acquintances whom I berfriend while watching her gigs and shows in previous years, some whom I’ve added in my Facebook(my new internet friend-site addiction) smiles exchange, there were giggles and small talks, and many are excited faces whom like me…very much anticipated to witness this amazing lady performance any moment from now.

After 7 years, this concert is much awaited by many Malaysian and her ardent fans, many were expecting some extraordinary performance by this Little Ms Dynamite.
The most hush-hush show ever, and before the shows, many media press were trying to catch a glimpse of what Sheila will offer this time, the whole Magada Team, and Sheila Majid Fan Club Presidents - Azman Mohd were very much tight lips and keep on teasing the fans with..”wait and see, rugi kalau tak pergi”

                   Days before the concert, I was privillage enough to catch a few hints of the shows, Alex Eu (my facebook newly added pal -cum Sheila Majid Make Up Maestro and stylist, break the news on what she would wearing. Micheal Ong…So I can imagine, it would be like ballroom long gown dresses(very much like the Ratu 1996 Tour) or a hint of Badgley Mischka, Dior , Valentino,Proenza Schouler, Armani Couture or anything Greek Goddess style long dresses and I’m also feeling that she would pamper her sole with Jimmy Choo , Blahnik or Even Christian Louboutin. Bit by bit..the concert secrets revealed in her Facebook- Sheila Majid Group and Sheila Majid official Facebook Fan Club. Number of songs has reached 36 pieces(which means, she will be rendering her sort called 1 hour and a half show, singging songs from Dimensi Baru, Emosi,Warna,Legenda,Ku Mohon and Cinta Kita, all in medley or full songs versions)

              The show was extra special, as the guests of honour(heard rumours, he insist to watch the show, coz he’s a closetted sheila majid fans ) consist of Pak Lah and 1st Lady Jane Abdullah, and a few VVIPS- Dato Sharizat and the Datin Aishah Ong(The IJN founder) so I would expect this would be a bit more to protocal and well behaved concert(so I thought…)

Me and Aziz filled our tummies with some light snack and coffees at KLCC Park Cafe(which is rare to actually dine on their take-away plastic tupperware like utensils) anyway, as we mingle around, I saw something I know about 25 years ago that I could not afford to buy, concert souvenirs!, I bought myself which I later believed, the book that I now own  be the 1st edition of Sheila Majid Coffee Table Book- Retrospective Biography(high lights on her amazing career as a singer an indisputable Queen of Jazz):priced RM100 (another IJN fund raising effort) and a pair of XL sized baby tee priced RM20(later I renovate it with a plunging neckline look..it’s soo me okie!)and of course the ticket that we bought, RM200 each(middle sitting , and quite far away from the stage) all in for some good cause!

             I managed to meet Azman Mohd - The Fan club president(after all these years, emailing and quite embarassing to say, stalking and harrasing him to give me details on any Sheila upcoming performances)he was thrilled to meet me finally, and lovely and charming lad, and yes the feeling is mutual.

                    I’ve seen Sheila Majid in action, regardless through TV or Live performances, but everytime when I’m about to watch her, I get agitated as always. I assume even more compared to her. I met her in person last year during Maxis Hi-tea Series with Outstanding Malaysian, and I was starstruck, she’s lovely, charming and beautiful in person. She candidly calm me down when I get too excited to the point speechless, yes, Sheila I’ve seen you in person many,many times. But she is yet  to have that unusual aura, an ex-factor and queenly persona.
I rememeber the 1st time I meet her in person many ages ago..she strike me the most, as she’s so petit in person but yet so alluring. I told myself when I was young, I want to be her, infact..I still do..Sheila is my Idol…nobody can take that away from me…I grew up listening to her musics, she inspired me, reflects me,loved me with enchanting songs,mesmerize me with her graceful style(totally RATU..very ayu) she confides me with positive lyrics and educate me in every sense.

                 9.15pm, hall is packed with anticipated audiences. Malaysian in all gender,races and ages, there are glamour puss, metrosexuals, smartly clad in batik, ladies in bling2 attired, woman in feminine floral kebaya and baju kurung,’taitai’with overly style hairdo,and there’s actually the lady of the night (thats me actually), fashion victims, PLU’s,stocky, slim , chubby,skinny..everyone unite as 1 entity- Sheila Majid ultimate fans!

The fully packed hall slowly filled with crowds whistling and cheering her name. Suddenly, the air filled with anonymous total silent, as the haunting piano rendering instrumental version of Ku Mohon(the song which she pen and won best song of the year- AIM 1999) the giant LCD, shows footage of IJN foundations, Sheila pictured in the 1st lady outfit, glamorous fuchsia pink baju kurung and pearl necklace. The footage shows the recent visits of her at the IJN, visiting the patients, and it shows the softer side(which predictable enough) of Sheila we seldom notice, even at one point, there’s an obvious tearful eyes of her which touched me the most(Sheila ,always coined as the most outspoken, sharp tongue and discipline Malaysian celebrity, whom seldom shows her emotional side to the media view)

The music starts to an upbeat number, backed up by 12 musicians (lead by Achis the hot Sheila Majid hubby)  and 3 backup vocals, elevated on the middle of the stage,  stands confidently in her Sheila pose, and clad in a green Greecian inspired long gowns and hair toussled loosely, She emerge with a big thunderous applause and hysterical screams from her fans. Glamorously walked down the stage, she rendered her must-have concert/show piece of Warna from Warna album, a refreshing poppy/bubbly danceable tune and more upbeat starts.

The most amazing thing would be her flawless voice, we all notice, like many other singers, her voice would need warm-ups and normally after the 4th songs, she would appeared more flawless. This time is different. she starts with a big bang, and ends with a bang-bang boom effect, she starts with familiar songs from her earlier albums. Songs like Dia, Bahagia,Memori, Hasrat Cinta, Kasih Melangkah Pasti and more beautiful ballads from Ratu- Mengapa Kasih, Percayalah and Ratu , and amazing ballad remake P Ramlee’s classics of Malam Ku Bermimpi, Jeritan Batinku and the gothic and romantic version of Engkau Laksana Bulan, She even amused us with Pengemis Muda ‘original version which  Achis appeared with 80’s handheld keyboard and actually groove to the ol-skool tune! (ever so yummy Sheila’s hubby- Achis)being an ardent fans, these songs just walk down memory lane. Her repotoire with the audience is as we always remember to be, very warmth and very personal, as if she’s peforming just for u(very rare artiste have that ability, when performing a live event)  she’s so charming as always!

                    The most unforgettable stints would be the end of the 1st segment, walking gracefully on the stairs, as the Embun songs faded- She freeze with a significant old shawbrothers/Hollywood glamour broadway pose(heads thrown back, hands spread wide open, stand statuesqely with both feet clad in unmistaken Louboutin sole, body lean towards left supermodel universal catwalk  side profile pose-officially calling this The Sheila Pose) The audience were amused with these unusual enthics of her, assuming something is quite wrong with the stage, or a technical glinched suddenly occured or something, but after 20th second, the crowd when wilder when realizing that it’s unusual gimmick , 45 seconds later, the music starts to play and hitting a peak of Embun encore, she disappeared vogue-ly in the Madonna’s Confession 2006 World Tour style  hydraulic elevated stage.

2nd set are more polished , clad in another Micheal Ong creation. A demure approached of the conventional classic LBD unmistakenly similar to Gucci empire black dress. During this stage, crowds were sitting uneasily as she sings mainly her most wanted ballads, Gerimis Semalam, Gemilang, Antara Anyer dan Jakarta and Aku Cinta Padamu(this is another highlight where she sings the version differently, it was an wow-moment  that only me and Aziz could notice ) noticing us sits politely on the chair, she profusely instruct all the audience to get up and dance, yes of course we did. I’m sure I was quite an entertaintment for audience who sits behind me.
I was dancing to the P-Ramlee classic tribute segments Manusia and Bunyi Gitar , Jelingan Manja, Tiru Macam Saya like nobody’s business..and the VVIP responds, Pak Lah would agree, he obviously sings and dancing a lot too( I’m sure he is amazed to witness this petite asian lady and remember she’s a mother of four ! Thats the cili padi and dynamite effect ! U Go Kak Sheila!)

The crowd spontenously agree to all wanting for more and more from her, even to the point, when she gleefully says her goodbye sort call ending her performance(mind u, it was already 11.15pm),we’re still screaming for more! But whoever attended her performance before, would know. This is just another cute gimmick from Ms Majid. As we all know , she would not easily leave us anytime soon yet, as she has yet to sings her :Lagu-lagu wajib…right…

The hall load with chanting of !“We Want More..We Want More..WE WANT MORE!” Obviously the Ratu and her expertise and vast stage experience, and like a supermodel; Within less than 2 minutes she re-emerge on stage with a glamorous, crystal studded rain drops like purple boat neck(which I liked to call it the Sheila Majid TOP) neck flip-flap long  gown dresses by yet another Ong’s amazing creation!  

               She nows oblige by the command of her long standing fans(23 years love affair babyyy…) she starts the 3rd set with beautiful flawless version of Ku Mohon, she later sings her special dedicated song to her mother who presence in the concert that evening- Hitam Putih Kehidupan(which I grew to like it somehow…) and of course the much awaited Sinaran, no matter how many times the song been remixed and revisited..it’s still unusually catchy and U could easily spot it after a few beat ! That Sheila Majid power !! The crowd when wild with this yet another new Sinaran version(which now is my official favorite Sinaran live version) it’s very pop, eletronica and hints of Madonna-rama in it…very cool
                Sheila take a bow after the performances and was quite expecting to leave the stage, but did we let her do so without singging the ultimate song by these living legend…NOOOOO!!….we didnt!

YES!! She emerge again on stage, this time she says ‘ Aku Dah Agak Dah…Tak sah If I dont Sing Legenda … tonight”
yes..She did..Legenda, with a special tribute to our Malaysian Prime Ministers, it was an amazing approach that I would leave my comment in my memories..as i said..rugi ..for those who didnt attend the concert….eheheheh

Lately…I notice I’m such an ex-magnet, most of my ex-es been trying to reconcile with me…I dont understand why? but I guess, I’m reaching my prime years, new age, where I am more attractive when I get older(boleh ker statement confident itewwww??)but all my ex-es(Be’Sham, Jimmy,Rajib and Leman) has been keep on sms-ing and calling me. lately..but u know what, I dont feel the same as I used to towards them. I am open for any opportunities, but it’s quite hard  to actually picturing myself with any of them again..maybe …well never say never kan…

Mohd Leman(my 1st- The ultimate :what was I thinking moment.. and this shows how parents can be so cruel to name their child that way..Leman…how kesian is that..picturing myself crying out his name in a passionate mood..sungguh menyedihkan..Kannnn)
He was my 1st infactuation, the 1st stocky chubby guy I adored and admired…He’s quite tall, fair skin,broad big shoulders,yummy? yess..of course and for me he’s quite a sexy guy, but still a typical kampung boy..whom profession- check this out- consist of selling ikan terubok panggang during puasa month, manok panggang, and even illegal drugs(side income lah konon!) the relationship is vague, clueless and I have no idea what was it all about..admiration towards something that so taboo? maybe…

Nabawie(Bawie) *aziz* mesti tgh leput tetak time nangga nama nemiak tok…he was my 1st love, the one that I really  head over my Manolo heels…he’s adorable, cute and sexy(korean actor song seung hoon look-alike..I swear by my Jimmy Choos!) I really2 missed him, and apperantly he’s the only guy that I dated that I havent bump into or meet  since I dumped him exactly 8 years ago, and ironically ever since  i’m back in Kch now ,yet still, we never crossed path…I hope someday he would see me and thought* wow * leaving me was a huge mistake..Neyna is freaking HOT!! If Bawie..in some cosmic universe and destined to read my blog now..I missed you..and I would love to meet u someday…

Be-Sham
my 1st live in relationship, the fastest ever for me to fall in love(say about 2 weeks), to commit and to actually agreed to live in with(say: within a month), it was quite a disaster!  We argue most of the time, our relationships are based on jealousy ,angst and no trust at all, we have our differences in almost everything, I tried to be a good gf to him, I surrender and sacrifice almost everything in my life for him, and what do I get in return…nothing..no love. We actually talked about it recently( which was a long due one..) And we both admit that ,  we’re both young & naive, and we didnt give much room for the relationship to grow, we make many mistakes and we never admit that, when we’re still together then, it was quite a bad habit that we both indulge in(we fight and we turn around and make up).
He dumped me..not just once, but 4 times(within the period of 5 years, and now he’s trying his best to reconcile with me again…we’ll see, coz seriously…my heart is numb …and relationship with him is not something I would look forward in the future…bad ? ya maybe…coz i used to be hurt so much by him, and I have to admit…U dont mess around with my heart and u’ll regret..would I ever give him another chance ever? well..it’s too soon to say and it’s really hard for me to predict my own future anyway…

The Kelantanese guy whom I used to considered as the love of my life, the only who ever loved me as much as I do, a guy who would willing to go the extra miles to show how much he adored me, a guy whom speak the language of my heart(ewwww…puke!!) a perfect guy, my type…and seems to be everyone’s type too..and his wife definately agreed with me..so enough said..it’s taboo..it’s wrong..and I only realized it after 5 years with him..(how come u asked? well lets agree that…I went through a stage where I am always end up making wrong decisions, not for the sports, but I’m just only human, and definately not a perfect one!)

Well this boy is really something,  1st attraction would be very much physical! And yes, he’s not perfect, he’s the type of a guy your friend would disapproved immediately and your parents would be totally rejecting him. He’s a naughty and mischeavous boy(his love his cocktail drugs and drinks like a flower-horn fish)
But he does make me happy at one point, we have a unique relationship, I love how spontenous he could be, with him is all about venturing to new things(things that I thought I wont be doing in million years, say lepak at Kuching waterfront on a saturday afternoon..) but it grew older, the fun turns to a constant arguement,  coz he’s young and his in a maturing stage, where he is always as confused as me used to be before..so..he’s quite exceptional…he’s all right…I’m sure he will grow into a much wiser n mature men someday(I have personal high hopes for this boy)

I also realize that  these day ,  I am quite a young boy magnet too(not to angkat my own bakul) ..younger men seems to be attracted to me more or vice-versa, I admit I am no oil painting myself..I have no idea why they tend to like me comparing to my other younger counterpart. Maybe I’m more mature,more confident and sometimes can be sexually loud and signaling an erotic aura(it’s my natural instinct..something that I am all proud about)..well maybe lah…but do I really dig on age differences, sometimes I do, sometimes I dont: Although.., yes I dont really mind about the age. At the ends its all about compatibility ..it can be more towards a physical attraction, it can also be character traits, I would easily fall in love if the character and physical wise, if he meets every single details of the men of my choice(I’m speaking for most of US): My Boy or My Boo- He must be funny, mature, loving,passionate in everything, sincere , honest and well established(career and money wise) oh yeah..he must be stocky chubby n cute side burns with oriental jap chinky eyes…and thats more to physical attractiveness…

Being doubt as a drama queen for 7 consecutive years, I am frequently caught on to quote saying how depressing my life is, getting old and semakin kertu(andartu -anak dara bapok tua), I’m not rich yet, yet alone succesful(as a famous shoe designer) kembali at my old place(Kuching…) and still living my family…how depressing is that, while people around me either own an apartment or at least own a kancil(i dont even own a basikal ) either making more money , or even having well secure relationship…i am neither, exactly 9 days before my b-day. I have sleepless night, and I was a bit to anxious to turning 30. I watched rerun of Ally McBeal and discover how pathetic  she was and how she resembles me ( I guess everyone does) I am a bit sicked n tired of my surrounding, disgusting with how fat I end up now(yupp fat- gemok and ader perut okie!) I refused to answer calls from my close friends or even replying sms-es or emails(like as if I’m getting any lah..) the only thing that keep me excited and running would be, my plan, yess the plan…my weekend b-day bash in KL…I’m excited as I know i’ll be attending the major concert of the year by my beloved akak Sheila Majid on the 2nd, and i’ll be pretending to be rich n famous as i’m staying in the ever grand Traders Hotel, besides the concert venue. I’ll be meeting my bitches group of long time slut in crime friends. It would be major, the key event would be the concert, the mamak banana leaf dinner, the lunch with aziz and vivian and xyrole and aida, and the window shopping and the yet another lunch with aziz…so it wld be fabulous. Although, I have to cancelled my major planned trip to UK for my 30 b-day this year(drama uolz..malas nak taip panjang…what can i say …shial nyer malaysian PTPTN) it still going 2 be fabulous

The morning of my b-day, I woke up with a big smile, the last day of my working(the day before i’m leaving 2 KL for the celebration!) so far…It was not bad after all, being 30 is quite all right
my dad n mom sings happy b-day for me as I walk up to the kitchen, it was cute!
as the day goes by, I had a few b-day invites by my collegues in Maxis, the CS girls also sings me a b-day song(impromptu and right infront of other customers, it was so adorable! i am so touched by their gesture, well the Polo Romance perfume helps a lot…thanx for the gift guys)
and a special lunch with my close fag hags- Julie, Shirley,Lucy and Audrey Nicholas Rateh and my iron lady Janice, we had a feastful lunch at Sushi King The Spring Mall, and I bough 2 Secret Recipes Cakes(one for the b-day lunch, one for the CS as a token of appreciation) It was great ..thanks guys

evening..I had a dinner b-day party with my beloved family
it was lovely and I feel quite touched, all the familiar faces that has been with me for the past 30 years, there’s music, food and great companions, and mom walking us down to memory lane , telling stories how difficult for her to carry me, and they have to  literally cut me out of her( I was a huge a baby and a very adorable one indeed)
Syuke came later, we went out for a very impromptu b-day bash at Senso Hilton, and a few of my male companion also present, we had fun ..so much fun when ur not planning anything

1st february 2008 ended with an amazing evening..I had so much positivity in me…and I always believe in myself …and getting old is nothing comparing getting more mature, more experience in life, more love, more happiness and more amazing family and friends surrounding u

The B-day Weekend Gateway in KL- Glam n Glitz and all that Blings

Denial is not a river down in Egypt…a wise bapok once said...mind u, this bapok is quite well read n travel the globe(well almost lah) I always want to think of positive about my life would end up…yet again…as an INSAN, we never failed to be misreable with what we’re facing presently.

I have list of bad things that i’ve done that would easily put Paris Hilton to ashame…with my extreme bapok behavior…..and trust me, being label as blonde and dumb(yes…I have nothing to be ashame of) coz this gurl has make through life…and manage to survive. Although, right this very moment, I have nothing much to be proud of…but I considered myself as blessed, life is not easy to live..

as a bapok or nyah or shemale or ladyboy or ah-kua, I am frequently judge and sometimes cruely mock by the society, we’re supposed to act and be a certain way if we wished to be in the society. But i dont believe in that at all, I choose to live as I am. As long as I dont bring suffer to anyone else around me..(OMG, I speak like a wise-men) anyway…

2008 brings a new opportunity to me, FYI, I am now promoted to a new role and new department, something that I am reluctant to accept at 1st, if you’re new to me. A lil bit abt me , in terms what profession I’m in(nope, too bad I’m not a show girl, fashion designer, make-up artiste or a stylist:typical bapok proffesion in Malaysia) I work as product trainer in a telecomunication who is proud of the red color and always praise ourself as the NO 1….so nothing suprising…yes..I am working in a very professional field, in fact I never thought someday I would end up working here. But, so far, I am blessed with the fact that, I am in a good place. I am well accepted by my collegues and counterparts, I have shown them my ability and my strenght. Yet, I still maintain my personality, chirpy, sometimes bitchy(well most of the time) blonde moment(but I show them I’m willing to learnt, no matter what speed of pace for me to reach my goal) as a bapok, I managed to make sure, my work place is a fashion conscious temple, I dont just work but I make sure I look good when I’m working! I would be the one who wears all the nicest and smartes outfit(ini blog aku..pasal lahh ..if I want to blow my own horn kan!) and the most trendiest hand bags(I have 14 big oversized hand bags) that I would rotately use. Kuching is a very laid back town, the people is more relax to the point that its annoying at times. My working style comparing to when I was in KL, is so different. I am now more relax and have more time to gain weight..ehehehhe…but, the down side of this would be, my collegues are colorful people who have every characters trait that would easily tear down the whole Roman Empire. This typical group of ppl I work with is somehow making myself realize, I dont want to end up like them…hell with them
anyway..I am now in the learning progress of my new roles..do keep on checking on my future posts…so far..I’m glad i’m still in Kuching, working here, means I can save more money, I can spend more time with my family..I have more time for myself…minus…I’m still single…and trust me…is not something i’m looking forward to live through for the whole 2008…so wish me luck…well…I dont really need any…
